My name is Bojan Pavlov and I work for a travel agency that is organizing inbound tours in Macedonia (http://www.timeformacedonia.com), and we would like to offer you our country as possible destination for paragliding.
Here are some general information of what we can offer for paragliding: THE PARAGLIDING HEAVEN Known as one of the most attractive paragliding spots in the World, Macedonia has been the place for many Paragliding World Cups in the recent years. They all take place in Krushevo, the highest town in the Balkans, located at altitude of 1250m. The unique weather conditions of this region, the mountain ridges and wide valleys allow to set challenging and long competition tasks. This location is the favorite XC site and it is where we will try to fly long distance. It is also one of the safest places for flying as there are almost no strong valley winds which allow even beginners to fly up to 50km. On the other hand, it is challenging for more experienced pilots as this valley is surrounded by beautiful mountains where they can easily make triangles of 150km. Best time to plan your paragliding trip in Macedonia is from May through September. Pilots generally get to fly somewhere every day unless it is raining or is totally blown out, which is almost never. But, as fixed itinerary cannot be planned due to weather conditions and pilot requirements, you can always choose to spend a day, or an afternoon on a discovery visit of Macedonian countless attractions, as most of these flying sites are close to beautiful wineries, farms and restaurants, as well as many historic places from the period of Alexander the Great and the Roman Empire, attractive medieval towns and fantastic natural sites. Your paragliding experience in Macedonia will include Krusevo as first hub where we will try to fly long distance. XC flying is possible also here, and on all other locations we will fly from: Treskavec Monastery - a 13th century Byzantine temple built between the cliffs and boulders above Prilep; Sliva Hills located in the cleanest and most remote region of Macedonia; and Galicica National Park for the fantastic experience of flying above the oldest lake in the world protected by UNESCO – Ohrid Lake.
You will be hosted by the main pilot of the paragliding club Heli X, Igor Todevski. He has more than 5000 paragliding and 450 sailplane flying hours. He is a certified UCVP paragliding instructor pilot and member of the examination commission for issuing licenses in Macedonian Air Federation. Igor is also a World Cup competitor and one of the top-rated pilots in the world. He was flying as a Gin Team Pilot in the years behind and now he is flying under Ozone Team Flag as a Team Pilot. He has also set up the national Macedonian record, having covered the route from Vodno (Skopje) to St Naum (Galichitsa). His CV includes many 1st and 2nd places in Balkan and World championships, and the significant rating back in 2011 as the 11th among the 150 best pilots ON OUR PLANET!
We are hoping that you would be interested to come here and to have unforgettable experience.
If need more information please do not hesitate to contact me.
Looking forward for further correspondence, Regards,
Bojan Pavlov

As for the weather conditions, they are usually very good and stable in this month. Cloud base can go more than 2500-3000m with with thermals up to 3-4-5m/s. We have done many amazing xc flights in this month.
